Where a Mother's Instinct Became a Standard for Better Kidswear.

Every meaningful brand begins with a moment. Ours began with my daughter's skin.

Zoey was only 18 months old when tiny red rashes started appearing in the warm folds of her body— her neck, behind her knees, inner elbows, and underarms.

As a mother, I felt helpless. I had done everything I knew:

  • the safest skincare
  • organic vegetables
  • trusted kidswear brands
  • nothing cheap, nothing inconsistent

And yet… something was hurting her.

The Night Everything Changed

One evening, while watching a documentary on Netflix, I discovered the uncomfortable truth about the global clothing industry.

  • Azo dyes banned across Europe but still used widely in Asia.
  • Chemical softeners trapped inside fabrics.
  • Cotton-poly blends disguised as natural.
  • Conventional cotton grown with toxins.

That night, something inside me shifted.

I walked straight to my daughter's wardrobe. I checked every single label.

What I found shocked me. Clothes that 'felt natural' were actually blends. Some had no fabric composition at all. And the biggest eye-opener— regular cotton wasn't enough; only certified organic cotton was truly safe for delicate skin.

A Mother's Decision That Became a Calling

I sat on the floor surrounded by her tiny outfits and cried. Not out of guilt but out of clarity.

The next morning, I removed almost her entire wardrobe. Then I went looking for clean, well-designed, certified organic cotton clothing for her age.

But everything I found was:

  • Too synthetic
  • Too bright
  • Not breathable
  • Not certified
  • Poorly constructed
  • Not available in Indian and Canadian market in the style I wanted

It became painfully clear: The market wasn't built for parents like me who cared about both design and fabric integrity.

If the right clothes didn't exist for my daughter, I would create them — for her, and for every child who deserves better. This was never a business idea. It was a mother's response to a problem far bigger than a rash.

Why We Exist

Because not all fabrics are innocent.

Because a child's skin absorbs more than we think.

Because comfort isn't a feature — it's a responsibility.

Because parents deserve the truth, not just marketing.

Mom & Zoey represents a new way of dressing children: clean, conscious, carefully designed clothing for ages 2–6.

Made to feel gentle. Made to look beautiful. Made to be trusted.

Why Made in India

India is home to centuries of textile knowledge — skilled artisans who understand fabric, breathability, and finish in a way machines alone never can. It is also one of the world’s leading hubs for organic cotton, with an ecosystem that allows us to stay close to our materials — from fibre to fabric to final stitch.

Designing in Canada shaped our standards. Motherhood shaped our priorities. India gave us the hands to bring it all together.

By combining Canadian design standards with Indian craftsmanship and organic cotton sourcing, every Mom & Zoey piece is created to feel gentle on your child’s skin, move with their body, and last beyond trends.

Because when something touches your child every day, intention matters.
