I'm Aman — the founder of Mom & Zoey, a mother of one, and someone who spent years in engineering before switching to designing safe kids' clothing.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The Beginning

Before Mom & Zoey, I lived a very different life: an Engineering Manager in the tech world, building teams, solving complex problems, and enjoying a comfortable, predictable future.

Then came Zoey.

The moment she was born, something shifted in me — the kind of shift only a mother understands.

But what I didn't expect was the constant battle with her skin.

Red rashes, Itchy patches at night. Irritation from the softest-looking clothes. I tried everything — new detergents, organic creams, cotton-only labels.

Nothing worked. Because the problem wasn't the product — it was the fabric.

THE TURNING POINT

The Choice That Redefined My Life

One night, while researching fabric chemicals at 2 a.m., I stumbled upon something that changed everything:

Most "100% cotton" children's clothing is finished with formaldehyde, heavy metals, and synthetic softeners.

Labels lie. Marketing misleads. And children pay the price.

I couldn't unsee it.

So I made a choice: I would build what I couldn't find.

That's why I chose GOTS-certified organic cotton. Every fabric, every dye, and every step of production is independently certified from seed to skin. It gives me peace of mind knowing what touches Zoey's skin is as gentle and clean as I hoped it would be.

Learning an Industry I Never Belonged To

I had zero fashion experience. No textile background. No industry contacts.

But I had something stronger: a mother's obsession with getting it right.

I spent months learning fabric science, certification standards, and ethical sourcing. I visited mills, questioned suppliers, rejected shortcuts.

And slowly, piece by piece, Mom & Zoey took shape.

Not as a brand — but as a promise.
